There needs to be certain measures put in place as a technology or application is being developed in order to protect the intellectual property to maximize the lifecycle of a product and return on investment. Describe in detail at least three methods that can be applied to protect technology or application and strategies that can be applied to license technology in order to maximize the lifecycle and profits.
