The only one person I know who meets the national daily recommendation goals for physical activities without trying is my nine year old son. I can count the number of times I have seen my boy walk in his nine years of life. He is the most buoyant nine year old ever. He hits the ground running at every given chance. He splits up in our living room and zooms away in a fashion reserved for the movies. He has had defined biceps and triceps since the age five. I wonder if this will change for him? Personally, I am trapped in the 80% statistics of Americans that are not meeting the national recommendation goals for physical activities. I have been aware of this, time and time again I resolve to do something about it, but life and career always compete with my resolve. The Physical Activities Guidelines (PAG) is the first- ever publication of national guidelines for physical activity. The Physical Activity objectives for Healthy People 2020 reflect the strong state of the science supporting the health benefits of regular physical activity among youth and adults, as identified in the PAG. equipment that do not break the bank. Alternatively, no dime needs spent because one can simply set the timer to 10 minutes and hit the wind running. Make a turn to return home when the timer goes off. See? You have tricked your body to do a 20 minute run, but your brain was thinking 10 minutes is not bad at all. The best time to exercise is first thing in the morning. That way, it is done. Excuses of being tired after day's work will not be able to prevent you form working out. You can be on the treadmill, have your earphones on listening to what you choose and set your whitening tray and put them on. You have knocked off 3 takes for the time of one.
