Discussion Board 13
A controversy frequently encountered when considering the role of unions in organizations providing services related to health is whether it is appropriate for professionals to organize unions. This controversy arises almost every time a group of health care professionals is approached by a union. Common examples include registered nurses, medical technologists, physical therapists and physicians. Develop a discussion response that either supports or refutes (your choice) unions in organizations that are involved in activities that are related to individual or public health.
