History Final paper

After watching the documentary “Why we fight?”, I was quite shocked to know that people are fighting, and they don’t even know the reason to fight. They just followed the doctrine of so-called supreme leaders. Same way, America is trying to keep the world under its control. And, this was the reason behind the cause of the Cold War that happened after the cessation of World War II. In some history books, the Cold War is explained as the tension created between the two supreme military powerhouses of the world: USA and USSR. One bad thing about both America and the Soviet Union is that being the supreme power of the world, these two countries always try to interfere in the politic of the minor countries. The same thing happened after the World War II, even though, in order to bring the WWII to an end, the Soviet Union, Great Britain and United States made a pact, after the end, they tried to gain control the minor countries which were the war victims.

From the pearl harbor attack in WWI to the ongoing civil war in Syria currently, USA and USSR have been involved. In all of the tensions going on between the small countries, there are two big names involved: USA and USSR. In the cold war, neither USA nor USSR displayed direct military confrontation. In fact, the Cold War was a restricted rivalry between these two supreme powers. But, war shouldn’t be the first option even if it is an indirect one. As said by President Eisenhower in his farewell speech, the unmanaged military will lead to a dispute in the future. He also said that the war is the consequence of the demand for weapons. All of the statement what he asserted are being a reality.

My opinion is that this two-powerhouse should learn something from China. China has the best economy in the world. The interesting fact is despite being the world’s supreme power, the US economy is totally depended upon China. The US has a lot of debt with China. One good thing about China is that despite being a communist regime, it focuses upon its country’s economy first. China’s economy has influenced most countries in the world. So, China didn’t choose the military to gain control over the world , rather ,it used its economy.
