· Online learning has its fair share of internal and external motivations. While other learners may prefer to conduct their studies online, some will need an extra support system to make them feel motivated. Hammarlund et al. (2015) affirm that the external motivation comes from the platform grants the learners a structured framework for communication with teachers and peers. While on the internal motivation, the learners' flexibility to operate from is the major contributor towards this choice of learning.
· Cognitive load theory dwells on three aspects of human mental development: sensory memory, working memory, and long-term memory. When considering learner motivation, the theory supposes that individuals are motivated by how their mental capacity can adapt differently to different environments and scenarios. For example, some will be motivated by constantly repeating what they learn, while others will want to be left to think about what they believe is best for their learning outcomes.
Part Two
· Incorporating principles of self-regulation into instructions and assessment involves the physical and mental involvement of the people involved. For example, I would physically involve them in writing down and defining what they believe is good for their daily activities? Make them mentally think and assess themselves on how they believe their life has developed from childhood to young adults or make them physically talk about how they feel about how they can manage cognition and emotion with their fellow prisoners.
· The theory of self-efficacy supposes that personal judgment should drive an individual to execute courses of action needed in dealing with prospective situations. Self-regulation theory supposes that an individual's management should guide them through thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and make them reach their goals. The theory of motivation supposes that choices that individuals make should be free from external influences and interferences. How do they relate to high school education set-up? These three theories are seen to align on the fact that individual learners need to have that internal rapport within their thoughts and their course of action. They cling to the fact that students must learn to make decisions following their inner abilities to decide what is right or wrong.
· Self-efficacy and self-perception within a set-up of learners of mixed career options require one to understand their different stands on various principles. For example, what personal judgment styles will drive them to make decisions that will get them from difficult situations while making them reach their goals? How will the learning outcome convince these learners that what they believe in is what they should strive to make better and correct some of the challenging processes they may be facing? The two theories will work better if we program the learners to know how they need to conduct themselves in difficult situations.
