Consider if you will the common characteristics of underwriters who succeed in their work and derive satisfaction from it. Do you consider yourself someone who will become an underwriter?

Make brief notes on each of the eight (8) characteristics listed in the text book.
Do you agree / disagree that these are important characteristics for an underwriter? Why or why not?
Are there any characteristics that you think should be added to the list and why?
To what degree do you feel you have or do not have these characteristics?
