For the purpose of this exercise, you will pretend that you are on a sinking ship and there is a life boat, but the life boat only seats 4 people. Based on the list below, choose 4 people to save and place in the life boat. Everyone else left will not be saved. After you choose 4 people to save, write an explanation for each person you selected explaining why you selected them. You may also note anything you used to decide  against selecting an individual who was not saved. You are not starting a new civilization; you are simply sending 4 people back home. Do not add yourself to the list.
