Firms often post poor marketing strategies in their operations. This is causing the company's low-

profit turn-out due to not reaching many customers with its products. Essentially, no entrepreneur

is having a whole notion of marketing campaigns. Even when you are an experienced marketer, it

is hard to dial things up to the point in which you have an informed marketing drive (Janzer 34).

So, when a firm has a failing marketing strategy, then it is possible to be seen that predicted results

are not coming meeting the company's revenue projections. In such a scenario, the ROI can either

be negative otherwise negligible.

It calls for the sheer gut to look into earlier reactions or rather overlook the hard numbers, which

can demonstrate objectively that a particular marketing strategy is not working. It is not

appropriate for the company to abandon its marketing strategies altogether. However, when a

designed marketing strategy is not doing well, then it is advisable to look into better measures of

correcting the strategy to be into form. Thus, these are some solutions that can be used to correct

poor marketing strategies in an organization:

Differentiate your brand products

Ideally, the marketing world is often competitive, particularly within the great realms such as

social media and content marketing. Multiple brands are competing to get the attention of the

targeted audience. It is thus elemental for the management to make its strategy to be unique. In

case you are doing similar things just like the competitors or rather designing blends within noise

backgrounds, then such campaigns are likely to falter. This could be corrected by doing something

differently unique, which only a particular brand could say. In most cases, it might turn out to be

the only approach of cutting through the noise, which is being experienced within the market (Al-

Surmi, Abdulrahman, and Yanqing 40). Therefore, a poor marketing strategy can be solved by

doing things in different ways in an organization.

Another way of differentiating your brand is by pursuing alternative pricing. The best approach

through on can get noticed through providing alternative pricing, which stands within stark

contrast towards the competitors. This can be executed by lowering the product's prices than the

competitors, thus garnering attention to the customers. This might appear to be a hard task as

everyone would be offering low prices on their products.

Make offers to be more valuable.

Another approach to improve poor marketing strategy in an organization is to make offers to be

more valuable. Every form of marketing always targets some interactions like an end goal. Even if

it is purchasing a product or rather visiting a particular website, it is advisable to the actions on

customers' needs (Small 56). The needs of customers are valuable in returns. Often, it might turn

out to lead towards having making customers buy the product due to its affordability. At times, it is

appropriate to gift clients by educating them or rather offering them free downloadable eBooks,

which can be used in getting more information concerning the product. In case a firm is getting

many interactions as of the selected campaigns, it can be a sign of increased value on offer. This

could indicate that a company is offering discounts on major products by adding gifts.

One Cognitive Bias that i have come across this week is the Availability bias. We our currently in

Oman and we have been trying to travel to the UAE because my mom is currently there but since

covid-19 there have been travel restrictions and traveling has been really hard. They recently

opened up the airports and you have to have prior approval to travel and so it is a hectic process.

My point is that you would think it is not safe to travel by airplanes right now and would be better

to drive to UAE because firstly you would be in contact with your family only and secondly you

would be in the car and you wont stop until you get there and thirdly you would not be in a

confined space with strangers you do not know and you dont know who they have been in contact

with. We have refused to travel by air and we are going for driving to UAE. Actually if you look at

data collected so far air travel is safer than driving because before air travel everyone is tested and

all airports and airplanes in the gulf area have been sanitized and everyone wears masks and there

are sanitizers available everywhere, where as in driving you stop for gas and you can stop for food

and stop for border patrols and so you touch things and then touch your car and your family and

you are in contact with strangers along the way.

Hello Alya,

Thanks for sharing. The solutions you had mentioned makes sense. Differentiate

your brand products and Make offers to be more valuable are good solutions to

make an organization successful. I also do agree with you that, when firms make

poor marketing decisions, this can lead to poor ROI.
