Domino’s is one of the most popular pizza delivery chains in the world founded in the year 1960 in USA. The company has constantly strived by innovating and adapting to customers’ needs. In their year 2010, 2011 and 2012 they launched their own apps where customer’s could order pizzas with the use of their phones and have also heavily invested in the e-commerce and m-commerce platforms. Domino’s uses business intelligence and leverages Google’s marketing technology platform. The company uses Google tag manager and data layer to implement the app and help in web tracking. The company uses big query which has merged their customer relation management information with data analytics which gives them a holistic view of the data of their consumers.
Business Intelligence Reporting Tool (BIRT) is an open source reporting tools which offers data exploration, visualization and collaboration to the user. It can be embedded in a varied range of web and client applications and works for all types and sizes of companies. Another famous tool for reporting is Oracle which is a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware site which offers instant access to data at all levels in a secure environment. It includes a power what-you-see-is-what-you-get design tool which keeps report generation easy. Microsoft SQL server is another platform which helps users to create, share and manage reports for their businesses. It offers customization and helps in preparing various documents. Business intelligence dashboard is a data visualization and analysis tool which displays status of key performance indicators and other business metrics. It is an integral part of BI software. Managers want Bi to be delivered as a set of dashboard as it enables them in making informed decisions and helps them to easily comprehend intensive data of the business. It also provides visualization of data which makes it more useful. (Sutner, 2020) Business intelligence provides detailed and clarified understanding of critical information of the organization which is related to their operations. workforce, performance and environment which help the management make better informed decisions.
