Read the following article about rating property insurance found at the Insurance Bureau of Canada website at http://www.ibc.ca/yt/home/buying-home-insurance/premiums, “10 Factors that typically affect your Premiums”.
- In your opinion, were you surprised by any of the factors that influence the cost of house insurance? Do you think others would be as well? Why?
- What advice would you give to clients to help them reduce their house insurance premiums? Give at least 3 – 5 suggestions.
