· Compare Erasmus and Luther in their attempts to bring about religious reform. Consider the role of the printing press and the actions of German princes in helping Luther to succeed. Next, identify one (1) example of the Protestant Reformation’s impact on visual arts. Pretend you are in a company or some other group in which you feel there is corruption. Comparing Erasmus and Luther on Reform
Martin Luther loved the truth of God’s word from his own struggles and salvation which reassured him but, he wanted to change the Christians way of believing the way they study the bible and how they see every point. He wanted them to accept salvation through Christ as a savior and actions of faith through love. I agree with him because without the love and salvation you wouldn’t have one another.
Erasmus wanted to do the same thing but in a different concept he cared about right knowledge of the truth and wanted moral reform as to operate under free will instead of predestination in the Roman catholic church. I agree with Erasmus you should have the right to operate under free will but those that don’t follow the rules should be accounted for their wrong doings people are going to what they want when they want to.
Role of the printing press
The role of the printing press is nearly a century ago it made publishing news and books to other places a lot quicker and it was also cheaper than one person having to write a book at a time.
Role of The German Princes
Two roles that the German princes was that they wanted to reform the way they viewed everything within the economy and politically stance they wanted to eliminate the pay the church and hope to stop the violence.
