Introduction, Thesis Statement, and Annotated Bibliography

Review the Final Research Project instructions in Week Five and identify two potential research topics.

After reviewing the Final Research Project instructions in Week Five, the possible research topics that I chose is Aging Population.

Describe methods to use in identifying and narrowing your research paper topic.

I started by doing a research on articles and scholarly sources to see which sources help me to find more information in this topic.  I think that these sources have a wider range of information both at the Ashford Library and truthful sites on the web.   For the topics I have chosen I was able to find lot information which is going to help me decide on one for the final research paper.  I also wanted to address some of the issues that are a major problem today. 

Examine and summarize information from at least two scholarly sources for one of the topics that may prove valuable as you seek to defend your claims regarding your chosen topic.

According to Lin, B., Huangfu, Y., Lima, N., Jobson, B., Kirk, M., O'Keeffe, P&Cook, D. J. (2017). “as we experience global population growth and global aging issues, there will be corresponding concerns about the quality of the air we experience inside and outside buildings. Because we can anticipate that there will be behavioral changes that accompany population growth and aging, we examine the relationship between home occupant behavior and indoor air quality. To do this, we collect both sensor-based behavior data and chemical indoor air quality measurements in smart home environments.

According to Mohammad, M., & Saadallah, D. (2017) “this study analyzes the consumption pattern of health care costs in Iranian urban households’ life cycle costs with a focus on aging period during 1997 to 2013. Methods & Materials This study is a secondary analysis conducted using data from the UN Population Division and household income and spending, with the help of pseudo-panel method. To recreate and analyze data, STATA software is used.

I’m for sure that the final topic for my Annotated Bibliography and Research Paper will be Aging Population, I was able to find a great amount of information that will help me write a very good quality research paper.

Scholarly sources should be used to support your writing on a selected topic because it will help you write a quality paper with correct information and sources. These sources provide you with supportable facts and statistics.
