Due to the development of the internet and technological advancement, the privacy of information has been a significant issue in information technology. Various strategies have been implied to ensure the confidentiality of information or data among individuals and organizations is prioritized (Lesko et al., 2021). Further, despite the intense improvement of information technology in maintaining the privacy of information in computer systems, there are significant issues related to privacy. Issues related to privacy include acts of spying and snooping (Lesko et al., 2021). For instance, when one gets online, one becomes vulnerable to internet risks since many trackers spy on you for distinct processes. Second, the internet is comprised of information mishandling. For instance, some internet sites need the personal information for logins, and this information might not be encrypted and can be accessed by anyone (Lesko et al., 2021). Sharing f private information on the internet provides the chance of being vulnerable to cybercriminals.

Cybercrime has been a significant issue across the globe on the internet. However, the three are laws and regulations that are implied to ensure the cybercrimes are controlled. Among the rules are issued against cybercrime include prohibited unauthorized access (Parks, 2021). Ethical hacking should be authorized using the right personals who do not share your personal information. The federal computer fraud and abuse act have policies that minimize computer-related frauds (Parks, 2021). It is prohibited to access organizations' data without consent; this can lead to heavy penalties to the victim.

Due to the increment of the cybercrimes such as hacking, the government must enhance more penalties and fines regarding cybercrimes. Hacking is considered the most frequent computer crime-related violations that have been significantly an issue in most organizations (Parks, 2021). Most of the institutions are losing faith in having their critical information in the computer systems. Therefore, yes, the regulations and laws regarding cybercrimes should be enhanced.
