Marketing, An Introduction: Chapters 7

So as you know - 'data is power' when it comes to knowing your customers - and this is actually something that Amazon is very good at in understanding -and predicting what customers want  and need.

After watching this video - do tell the class how you feel about this area of marketing and if you believe there is an invasion of customer privacy.  Is collecting data and dealing with such information good or bad for business and consumers -why or why not?  Should we expect such marketing tactics to become more or less invasive in the future?
