How do you see gender roles enacted in your own household (and/or you can discuss the household within which you were raised)? Are the roles more traditional or less traditional for men and women? How do you think these roles impact the various relationships within your household (be specific--think about parent-child relationships and/or sibling relationships, etc.). How do you think these roles have impacted your expectations and experiences for dating (or marital) relationships?

(NOTE: Research consistently shows us that gender has an impact on people's behavior and the way we structure our lives, thus you can not say that gender has no impact on your household. Think through these questions from a Sociological perspective and answer from an academic and analytical perspective).
