Discussion: What do you need?

Introduction

Quite often organizations will seek to improve a process or develop new products. So, they need to have a process to do that. In our reading this week, we learned about the PDCA process. View the video to gain ideas of what you can do for your organization and in the completion of this week's assignment.

Instructions

Now that you have viewed the video and read this week’s readings and PPTs, think about how you would respond to this week's discussion.  

When you are developing your new process or product, keep in mind to have the customer involved in this process and try to understand customer perception and customer needs, wants, and desires. Think about your organization or one you are familiar with and ask yourself how you would improve a process or the activities involved in the new product development process. Explain how you would change the process or the activities you would use to develop a new product.   

Respond to at least two of your peers and discuss their ideas and if you have any suggestions on how they could further improve the process or the activities to develop a new product.
