LinkedIn: A well-know professional social networking website is LinkedIn. Individuals create a professional profile and can link to other users as well as to companies they might like to work for. LinkedIn's focus is professional networking, and therefore it can be powerful way to expand candidate's job-search options. Likewise, companies can create employer branding content and invite users to "link in" with them. This identifies potential employers and help spread the word on job vacancies.39
2. Employer Website: Many employers have learned that their own company website can be very useful when recruiting candidates and reinforcing the employer brand. Employers include employment and career information on their websites under headings such as Employment or Careers. This is the place where recruiting (both internal and external) is often conducted. On many of these sites, job seekers are encourage to email resumes or complete online applications.
The most successful I feel is the employer website. I like the professional and personal appeal. As I quoted that they encourage individuals to email resumes or complete online applications on the site which is easier to use then most of the other sites. I believe that the website can be an effective tool for marketing the company. The company usually presents a favorable image of the employer by outlining information on the organization, including it products, services, potential, operations and sometimes including positive testimonials. Most website also tell you who's on the board of directors and the senior management team. The feel like this is the best to recruit new hire.

One way that a company can recruit employees is through different media sources (Mathis et al., 2017). From television to billboards, companies can advertise open positions to reach a wide range of people. The question is how effective is this? This way of recruiting employees might not be the best because these wide-ranged ads might not attract the right employee. It reaches so many, but this does not mean that they are fit for the job or that they want the job. Advertising through media is one way that a company could get the word out about their job opportunities, but it is probably not the most effective. Another way to get word out about a job opening is to have the search become internal where employees advise people they know to apply. This is pretty effective and some people might say this is the way the world works. Inside referral works because the employee is able to already know the applicant and their work ethic. This referral process is limited still. Some employees might not be able to accurately depict what a good candidate is and the reach is much less than using media to advertise the job opening. Regardless of the type, recruitment and the training that follows is an expensive task (Mueller, 2019). Whatever the method a company uses to advertise the job opening should reflect the actual applicants that they want, so they do not have to restart the hiring process.
