Sampling

I researched the poll on Tobacco and Smoking.  It was interesting to find that less people are smoking these days compared to some 20 years ago.  The poll reported a 41% decrease in smoking among adults.  It also showed that 78% of adult would prefer not to smoke to elevate pain.  My concern with this poll is that the variables used and also the statistics gathered.  Of the sample researched, most of them of adults in their older years.  The result did not reacher young adults, particularly people between age 18-20.  Another flaw in this research is that it focus only on adults, studies have shown that some teenagers also smoke.

Besides, the questions asked by the researchers about whether adults would "prefer to try nondrug ways to address their physical pains" is also questionable as it did not define what is "nondrug ways".

Anothe

r flaw in this research is that it focus only on adults, studies have shown

that some teenagers also smoke.

Besides, the questions asked by the researchers about whether adults would "prefer to

tionable as it did not

define what is "nondrug
