(1) What makes H.M. unusual?

(2) What aspects of his memory still work?

(3) Imagine if you went to bed tonight and then woke up ten years older, with no memory of what had happened in between now and then. How would this affect you? How would it affect your friends and family who did remember everything?

(4) What does this show us about the importance of memory?
