Presentations for Tech Report
Presentation will be 75 pts. Attendance for EACH day of presentation (taken at the END of the class period):5 pts per day. Late and Early leaves will deduct points.
Decorum: Do not come late; do not use computers, phones, or tablets. Typing is loud and rude. Be attentive and treat others as you would like to be treated. If I have to say anything to you at all, even once, you will lose participation points for the WHOLE presentation period.
IF YOU MISS YOUR PRESENTATION, that's it. There are NO makeups, regardless of excuse, reason, argument, or pleading. In the real world this leads people to be fired, sacked, canned...if you miss your presentation, consider yourself one of these.
Directions for Presentation: Please prepare a Power Point or Prezi based on your report. Your presentation should be 7-8 minutes in length—shorter than 7 minute presentations will be graded down; longer presentations over 8 minutes will be stopped and graded down. You should dress appropriately.
Please prepare a 7 slide presentation with the following slides:
1) Title Page with your name and date (brief! 30 seconds; introduce yourself)
2) Background information (2 mins)
3) Reason for report – problem (1 min)
4) Summary of findings (1 min)
5) Recommendation (2 min)
6) Conclusions 1 min (1 min)
7) Final page with contact info (30 seconds)
* You need to include TWO original visuals as well as use transitions and animations.
