Unit 7 Assignment

You have two parts to this assignment:

1. Consider what the grade level and content you want to teach.  Find an example of an assessment that fits. It does not have to be a test or quiz, though it can be.  There are many forms of assessment, as we have learned, and you may select the type of assessment that best fits your objectives/grade.  For example, in pre-k you might find a letter naming assessment.  For 8th grade math, you might find an assessment dealing with numbers and operations.

2. Write an explanation of the assessment, include:

3. Why did you chose this type of assessment?

4. What specifically it is meant to measure (be specific and make sure your items match the objective it is meant to assess)?

5. What information will this help you understand about your students?

6. How might you need to modify the assessment?

7. Any other information you would like to include.

Please be sure to submit the assessment and the analysis.  Your analysis can be a paper, PowerPoint/Google Slide deck, Prezi, etc.  Use your creativity to analyze your assessment!
