Diagnosis, Theory-Based Conceptualization and Treatment Plan

· Students will use assessment results to diagnose developmental, behavioral, and mental disorders (2.F.7.l).

· Students will describe how they conceptualize the client through the lens of at least one counseling theory (integrative conceptualizations are encouraged) (2.F.5.g; 2.F.5.n)

· Students will then develop a treatment plan for the client. The treatment plan must include:

· Developmentally and culturally relevant counseling treatment or intervention plans (2.F.5.h)

· Evidence-based counseling strategies and techniques for prevention and intervention that are consistent with the student’s theory-based conceptualization and that may represent integrative practice (2.F.5.j; 2.F.5.n)
