lease study the internet resource "What is Spirituality?"  The article lists 8 reasons why people might be drawn to spirituality (and religion).  Whether or not you are a religious believer yourself, which two of the 8 reasons given make the most sense to you as possible explanations for what people are looking for from faith/religion/spirituality?  Do you see the two that you identified as genuine things that humans need to flourish in life?  If so, why would those require spirituality/religion? In other words, couldn't those goals or needs to be met in some other way that does not involve religion or spirituality?
