Typically, various issues affect the operation of health care facilities. The effects of each issue on services delivery differs. Financial problems are one of the significant issues that directly affect the operation of health care facilities. Therefore, it is essential to consider this issue to find possible ways of reducing or eliminating its effects in health care facilities.

The selection of issues the issues to address in this discussion was primarily based on the effects of health care services delivery. Financial issues affect most health care facilities due to their impacts on services delivery and efficiency (Hyatt, 2018). Due to various effects of financial matters on the services delivery in health care facilities, it is prudent to identify the most appropriate ways of solving it.

Financial issues.

These issues relate to the factors that make a health care facility to be unable to meet all its financial obligations. Financial problems and trends affect all activities in a healthcare facility. For instance, the inadequacy of finances will lead to less compensation is health care professionals (Nowicki, 2018). The latter may lead to a reduction in qualities of health services due to poor performance. Therefore, it is essential to address this critical issue to find possible ways eliminating its effects on health care.

Financial crises in an organization affect various activities in any health care facility. Similarly, it can lead to multiple effects in this facility. First, it can reduce the quality of health services. When a healthcare facility lacks enough finances to pay its employees well, their morale to work will decrease, thus leading to the offering of low-quality services to patients.

Recommendations

For the facility to run all its activities effectively, the management should consider the following recommendations:

i. Seek financial support from the government to make the facility have a large capital base.

ii. Slightly increase the prices of sensitive health care services to improve the facility revenues.

iii. Control the expenditures of various departments of the facility.

iv. Prioritize the use of available funds on the critical health issues that require immediate attention.

For the facility to accomplish the goals of these recommendations, the management should seek for enough financial support from the government. Enough financial support will enable the facility to run all its activities more efficiently as well as improving the quality of services offered to patients (Hyatt, 2018).

Besides, the management of the facility can control the facility expenditure by focusing on the key issues that require special attention. As a result, this will help to improve the quality of health care services offered to patients.

Background

Financial issues have been one of the key problems that affect health care delivery in this facility. The amount of financial resources are not available to run all organizational activities. As a result, the management decided to increase services fee on essential health care services such as major surgery, therapy, and organ transplant, among other functions (Nowicki, 2018). In doing so, the facility will be able to generate enough revenues that will help to run all health care activities.

Seeking for more financial support from the government and other charitable organizations is likely to avail enough finances that will help to improve the quality of services offered to patients. As a result, the management has been submitting financial support requests to different organizations and governmental bodies. They did this to help generate enough finances that enable the facility to run all its activities more efficiently.

As such, it is imperative to evaluate this issue to find possible ways of eliminating its effects in health care facilities.

Professional challenges directly affect health care delivery and as well as the quality of services offered to patients. Intrinsically, it is appropriate to consider it as one of the main factors that influence health care services to deliver.

Based on the effects of professional challenges, it is prudent to select it among other issues to find a possible way of eliminating such matters in this facility.

The existence of such problems is very vital in a health care facility because it enables the management of the facility to identify areas which need improvements (Young & Kroth, 2018). For example, when health care professionals are unable to perform their roles effectively, the management will be forced to identify possible ways to solve the issues.

Besides, professional challenges can contribute to provision of reduced quality delivery to patients, thus sending patients away. As such, it is essential to be adequately addressed by the management to enhance quality delivery of health services. Therefore, it is vital to consider this issue as one of the main challenges affecting services delivery in health centers.

For the facility to run all its activities effectively, the management should consider the following recommendations:

i. The management of the facility should highlight professional guidelines for all health care professionals.

ii. Perform continuous monitoring and evaluation of health care professionals’ activities.

iii. The management of the facility should hire qualified health care professionals.

iv. The management of the facility should encourage adherence to professional guidelines.

The management of the facility needs to consider the above recommendations to facilitate the smooth running of all activities (Greenwald, 2010). Frequent monitoring and supervision of all events will help in quality improvement. Consequently, the entity will be capable to offer quality health care services that will meet the needs of patients.

On the other hand, hiring and recruiting qualified health professional will assist in offering quality health services to patients. Consequently, the entity will be capable to increase its revenues because most patients will feel comfortable with the services provided to them.

Background of the challenge

Professional issues are one of the main issues that affect services delivery in many health care facilities. The leading cause of these issues is the lack of adequate training of health care professionals (Greenwald, 2010). Usually, the lack of professional adherence to professional guidelines causes many effects in any organization.

Similarly, in health facilities, professional issues affect the ability of health care professions to perform their roles effectively. As such, there is a need to adequately address these issues (Greenwald, 2010). Some of the methods that are used by healthcare professionals to reduce or eliminate professional problem are like benchmarking and continuous employee training to equip them with adequate knowledge and skills. In doing so, it will be easy to achieve all organizational activities.

For the facility to perform all its activities effectively, the management should consider the following recommendations:

ii. Perform continuous monitoring and evaluation of health care professionals’ activities.

iii. The management of the facility should hire qualified health care professionals.

iv. The management of the facility should encourage adherence to professional guidelines.

Therefore, for the entity to provide quality services to clients, the management should critically consider the above recommendations. Constant monitoring and supervision of all activities will help in quality improvement. Consequently, the facility will be capable of providing quality health care services that will meet the needs of patients.
