Technical 70 points
· 5 points No more than one paragraph of the company scenario and introduction to the plan. Note that you can include paragraphs throughout the document describing the drawing, explaining your plan for a specific area, etc. if you think you need that.
· 10 (see below) IP addressing plan in a professionally formatted table – must summarize routes where possible and include VLANs.
· 5 points At least one of the central site LANs will have 500 devices.
· 5 points Must show summarization either in the table or on the network drawing (network number and mask on the router where you would perform summarization).
· 10 pts WAN plan
· Minimum of 2 sites (central site and branch office)
· Must describe the WAN type (type of connection between the two sites)
· Must describe how to handle VPN from remote users
· Must include an edge plan
· DMZ plan
· Must include a backup site and backup connectivity plan
· 5 points Routing plan (protocol and features implemented)
· You may want this in a paragraph in addition to the drawing depending on your plan. MUST include the protocol and features implemented.
· Must include at least one Layer 3 first hop redundancy technology plan within the company and drawing.
· 5 points Security plan specifically for the wired and wireless networks
· Must include the DMZ
· 5 points At least two (2) Layer 2 technologies (Hint: Etherchannel, spanning-tree protections, etc. and refer back to the lecture on Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies)
· 10 points WLAN plan
· Channel and frequency (for both 2.4 and 5GHz) including drawing of coverage at least one site -
