The project code name is "VDR", which stands for "Virtual Dressing Room."

This Project Charter is the one you must use when preparing your schedule plans in MS Project, and for other deliverables such as cost plans.

Keep in mind that if you really did this project, when your project was finished, its final product would have been a mobile APP. This mobile APP would have been be sold to multiple customers. Those customers are stores that sell clothing. The people buying the clothing in the stores are not your customers. The people using your APP would be your customer's customers. You are not doing this project! You are only putting together the Project Management plans to manage this type of project.

MS Project Assignments –

Description

The grading for this project will be as follows: (5% Overall Grade)

1. Quality of the plans, such as work done in parallel, and reasonable resource costs

2. Organization of the plans. For example predecessors, dependencies, and lag times

3. Demonstration of knowledge of course materials

The following three plans are required. Any extra plans you submit will not be considered for extra credit.

1. Schedule Plan: MS Project GANTT chart with Critical Path, and reasonable durations

Project start date = May 1

Project end date = July 1 (must include durations for tasks) Summit MS Project GANTT chart as an MPP file.

2. Cost Plan: a MS Project Resource sheet (realistic estimates entered into MS Project) Submit the MS Project Resource sheet as a PDF and XPS file

3. Cost Plan: a Cash Flow Report (must have estimated cost at completion) Submit the Cash Flow Report as a PDF and XPS file

Some of the highlights of the project deliverables include:

A Mobile App. that reads QR codes or Barcodes in clothing stores

The mobile app should provide a Virtual Dressing Room experience, that creates a 3D picture of how those clothes would look on the person.

All hardware, software, and documentation will go into production after a BETA test

The transition to production is part of your project. Indicate this as a Milestone on your schedule. You are not delivering this mobile app. Your job is to create the plans to manage the creation of these deliverables !
