Research Essay

To facilitate each person’s understanding of issues discussed during the semester, each student will write a research essay. This final paper should be a research paper on a relevant topic describing an issue discussed during the semester. With this paper, students should focus on relevant scholarly research and pursue a topic of interest. Relevant topics may include, but are not limited to the following: the role of technology, health and preventing hunger, green energy, voting behavior and youth or any issue discussed during the State of the Union address. This paper should be two to three pages in length and a works cited page.

Additional guidance and instructions will be provided throughout the semester. For all consulted sources, please use the MLA style of citation so that each source is documented properly. You should consult at least three to four sources for the research essay.
