What has been found is that Medicaid and Medicare spending reached a whopping $3.3 trillion in 2016. While it is said that in 2026 the United States will be spending about 1 in every $5 on health services making healthcare one of the country’s biggest expenses (Verma, 2018). Also, in July of 2017 President Trump announced to make prescription drugs more affordable for the nations seniors.

I located this information by running searches on the website of Medicare. To use this website, it is your basic website in which you can run a search on whatever you want. It was not easy to get information this way considering running a basic search on the website did not show much.

Through Burger King it worries me to see the high sodium content in each and every product. The calories for everything on the BK menu is high but not too high and like said sodium is more of an issue than eating a 700-calorie burger. I also find the fat content per food product to be way out of proportion. To summarize here, it appears to be a very unhealthy place to eat. Good thing I have not had fast food in about 13 years.

No surprise here but McDonalds was just the same high in fat content, sodium and calories for their food. I have to make an assumption that eating here is not good either. However, some may say they have a healthy menu for certain foods but the main result here is it is just the place to avoid. We all know fast food gets its name for a reason and that it should be avoided whenever possible. I may be no nutritionist but I do know a fair share on nutrition and healthy eating.

As for how I retrieved my information I just clicked on the link for Burger King and for McDonalds I hit the tab about our food and then clicked on the nutrition calculator to select a food item to view the nutrition information. This really helped being able to locate the caloric information and the whole gamut of nutrition. It shows you what to think and believe because all that needs to be done is to draw a conclusion on this information.

The deep web is typically known as websites for which one cannot search for information. It tends to include websites in which a login is required, content in maps or content in frames, CSI and ASP output, content in data bases on the internet website, content on the intranet which sits behind firewalls and sites with robot.txt files (Paul, & Hansen, 2007). All of which is places in which they are not available to be searched on the internet. However, there are benefits to the deep web such as having the ability to access information “not accessible through the more general search sites” (Paul, & Hansen. 2007, p. 134). This allows one to find information not available on other search sites. It is also claimed how more information is made accessible through the deep web with more newer content made available (Paul, &Hansen, 2007). While some disadvantages may be the issue of having to have a subscription and being difficult to determine the sources information.

Some limitations of using the world wide web is accessing any governmental information that predates the internet. It is said that typic “Information on government Web sites usually does not pre-date the Web- about 1995” (Paul, & Hansen, 2007, p. 97). This all shows that if I need to go back and find information from 1988 for example I probably will be at a dead end. This is one of the biggest disadvantages to the Web. And of course, all of the falsified information on the internet. The basic thing is the Web cannot provide you everything that you need. The reason being is because everything you are looking for will not be at your ease of access all of the time. It is like going to the grocery store, do they always have everything you are looking for, no? Point taken.
