This system allows automatic collection of road usage charges from subjected vehicles. This system uses a Mileage Collection subsystem, which is comprised of a Mileage Reporting Device (MRD) and a Data Collection component (either located in the MRD or on a Server). This Data Collection component will send a “mileage message” to the Road Usage Charge Processing Servers run by Account Managers (Which produces customer invoice and sends revenue to the Oregon State Treasury).
