Wednesday Dec. 5th & Friday Dec. 7th are presentations

Final meeting is in classroom:

· 35 people at meeting,

· 50/50 ratio of men & women

· Income 150,000+ per year

· People who represent:

. investment firms

. Local banks

. Angel investors

· 70% of them will have MBA

· Rest have a bachelors at least

· They are an audience that is already committed to helping the company,

· want to turn business around,

· positive scenario

· Audience will be considered audience that wants to be here

· Persuasive

· Business attire

· Audience will have to review teams and decide which one did the best job

· 2 components of meeting

. Written component

. Write a proposal as a team,

. typed,

. printed,

. does not have to be in folder

. stapled with title page

. Will include:

. Abstract (optional)

. Letter of transmittal (required)

. Welcoming those who came

. Formal letter

. 1 page

· Title page (required)

· Table of Contents (optional

· Introduction (required)

· Background, problem, purpose (R)

· Objectives (3 or 4 bullet points) (R)

. What are objectives of campaign

· Strategy (R)

. How you meet objective

· Plan of Action (own section) (longest part) (R)

. Details of exactly what is going to happen

. “go to all campuses and give out samples”

. Make up a story

· Budget (required)

. Does not need number, line item of what we think will be an expense and what we use the investors’ money for

· Staffing (optional)

· 15 minutes

· Each person must speak

. Equal time

· Power point presentation w oral presentation

. 1-2 slides per person

· Recommend in proposal, make sure we include power point slides

· List of each person and what we are responsible for (by team leader)
