Read "Cathedral" by Raymond Carver on pp. 70-85.

For this story, let's consider how "sympathetic" or "unsympathetic" each character is and to what extent he/she is a mix of both (see page xvii of intro for definition/explanation). You should write a short paragraph about each of the 3 main characters in response to this question of sympathy, using quotes for each.
