For this discussion board please review the two articles that are given above as well as the Life Safety & Means of Egress sections in your book and powerpoint. The first article tells what happened at the Beverly Hills Supper Club located in northern Kentucky while the second article explains what happened at the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory in New York and further explains why it is still important today. 

After reviewing the two documents, your powerpoint and book please choose one of the events and answer the following questions:

1. What basic requirements for life safety were not followed?    

2. What important issues relating to means of egress were not followed?

3. Do you think an event like this could still occur today?
