Leading Petty Officer/Naval Instructor (Supervisor) 03/04 – 02/07

U. S. Navy: Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit – NAS North Island, San Diego, CA.

· Conveyed training needs to contractor training organizations based on evaluating training methodology, curriculum effectiveness and the design features of training devices.

· Supervised and qualified five instructors to teach six Helicopter armament courses, leading to a 25% increase of qualified instructors.

· Revised the curriculum for two armament courses, ensuring course material was accurate, current and effective. Ensured lessons learned were integrated in course material development.

· Responsible for maintenance, upkeep and modernization of $4.5M of training devices and materials as training requirements changed.

· Expertly provided timely Fleet Relevant Technical Data to MH-60 R/S Public Review which resulted in new course delivered ahead of planned schedule.

· Review and validate curriculum for five MH60R/S weapon school courses, ensuring content was correct, current and would ensure Sailor learning retention and meet operational objectives.
