For this paper, you will watch a full-length ballet on YouTube and then write a 1 page paper over the ballet you watched.  You may choose to watch either a romantic, classical or contemporary ballet and will watch the clips I have provided below in each link below.

· Romantic Ballet : Choose to watch 1 video, either  La Sylphide OR  Giselle 

·

· Classical Ballet : Choose to watch 1 video, either  Swan Lake OR  Sleeping Beauty 

·

· Contemporary Ballet : Choose to watch the 3 videos from  Jewels (You MUST WATCH ALL 3: Emeralds, Rubies & Diamonds) OR watch 2 videos of different ballets,  Rossini Cards AND  Chroma

Paper Length: One page typed, double spaced (font 12 or smaller)

What to include: -   Briefly  explain the ballet plot or theme, and  why you chose this Ballet (be sure to reference whether it is romantic, classical or contemporary)

- Research and site where you found your information

- Write any personal opinion on the subject-  what you like and don’t like!

- Explain elements that demonstrate how this ballet is a romantic, classical or contemporary ballet 

- Use Complete sentences
