Discussion #1: 

In the article, “E-cigarette Ads Target Millions of Kids---CGC Says”, Matthew Myers, president of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids is quoted as saying, “The irresponsible and indiscriminate marketing by the e-cigarette industry, coupled with a complete lack of government oversight, is putting the health of our nation’s kids at risk.” Is advertising of e-cigarettes ethical considering that marketing of tobacco products has been considered unethical for years? Take a position and defend your position through the use of course material and any additional research you perform.

Read the article, “Uber Surge Pricing: Is it Ethical? ”by Lukie Crowley.  Crowley issues a challenge when he writes, “Put yourself in the position of the driver, the one that may simply do it because of the surged prices. Now, put yourself in the position of the consumer like many of us that have used Uber or similar services.  Take a position (ethical or unethical?).  Defend your position with course materials and any other research you perform.
