nternet is a source to connect to the web and communicate between each other. It is the backbone of the digital technology and has become a part of life for humans. Internet was invented for luxury and research purposes initially but it has taken over the human life and day to day activities. Internet made a major impact in human life which is both positive and negative. The positive impact is that it has made human life easier in the means of communication and also to find any information on the web. It has also made a negative impact by making humans very dependent on it and being addicted to Social hub like Facebook,Twitter etc. (Kahn, 2021).

Internet has redefined the meaning of a computer. Before internet computer has just made some calculations easier and it was also tedious process to transfer files between computers using Floppy Drives, CD’s, DVD’s but with the fast pace of internet and cloud technology everything is done over internet and all the files are stored on servers. The process of files transfer has become way faster, easier and cheaper using internet with the help of cloud technology.

Everything in our lives changed after Internet became so popular. In 80’s and 90’s internet was expanded hoping it would support the IT capabilities of research institutes, universities then public and private businesses. But it grew tremendously and reached common public, it’s the largest network in the world.

Over the past few years our lives are on a fast pace. Shopping, communicating, food, entertainment what not everything has been evolved by internet. It has become a necessity in our daily life. It transformed business, education, government, healthcare, and even how we communicate and became the cause of social evolution.

The way we watched movies have changed, you do not have to go to the theaters any more just subscribe to the various apps available and what whatever you want. Ability to work from remote places, expanding the business all over the world sitting at one place has created a huge job opportunities. Social media has become a big platform to connect people from different cultures and countries. Banking has changed completely, we are now able to transfer money or complete any banking activities at our ease from home and saved a lot of time and resources.

We can make our home smart home by connecting all the devices through internet, like security systems, lights, fans, refrigerator, thermostats, vacuum cleaner and TV’s and can be operated from remote place. (Hillyer, 2020).

Health care is also providing great support using internet. As everyone has smart phones in today’s world people are able to communicate with the doctors online and get the instant care.

Education system is vastly impacted providing unbounded possibilities for learning by connecting students and the professors, we can see the economical growth and the society well being in the near future.

Internet become the medium for the people to voice their political opinion and also proved to be a decisive communication tool in the election campaigns.
