PAPER: Cybercrime - Identity theft

1. You should research a minimum of three different sources and synthesize the sources to develop your own report. Sources can include magazine articles, newspaper articles, books, or reputable on-line sources.

Your work should include:

·  A five-to-eight-minute presentation to the class summarizing what you found. You will want to

prepare some slides to accompany your presentation. A key component of effective oral presentation is time management, so you should practice your presentation to ensure it meets the five-to-eight-minute guideline. The dress code for the presentation is business casual.

·  A paper documenting, in detail, the specifics of your research findings, conclusions and sources (your paper should include a section at the end which lists your sources). The paper should be somewhere between 6-8 pages in length (so your chosen topic should be broad enough to productively fill a 6–8-page paper). The paper can be either single or double spaced. Note that written reports are important in business, and frequently your career success will depend, in part, on the perceived quality of your written work. Accordingly, you will want to carefully proof-read your report before submitting it. Any spelling or grammatical errors will detract from the quality of your report, so you should diligently proof your paper to avoid any such mistakes. (Any spelling or grammatical error will result in reduced points for the assignment.)
