Examine how social psychology theories and research explain the dynamics of cyberbullying among adolescents.

The social psychological theory is considered the scientific study of how individual thoughts, beliefs, goals, intention, and feelings are built within the social context, which is imagined or the actual interactions with other people. These theories include the applied social psychological theory explains that the various observed human behaviours are related to the social behaviour they get to experience. This explains the dynamics of research on the cyberbullying experienced by an adolescent that originates from the people they interact with. This brings about verbal dynamics, physical dynamics, and many more (Chadee, 2011).

Another theory is the cognitive dissonance theory which explains that the various beliefs found of some of the adolescents are conflicting. Thus, when inconsistency exists between the behaviours and the attitude of the adolescents, there must be a change to eliminate the dissonance. Bullying is considered the aggressive kinds of intentional behaviours and is often repeatedly directed to a specific person who has lesser power than the aggressor. They are different types of cyber-bullying, including physical, social, verbal, sexual, and many more amongst the youths (Olivas, 2019).

Post an explanation of what is rewarding the adolescent-aged cyberbullying behavior.

The most positive rewards that adolescents get from cyberbullying include social interaction with other people thus able to carry out reputation. It also brings to understand the various contents that are regarded as cyberbullying activities that are unlawful which the adolescents are made aware of the and the adverse effects associated with it. They also learn the various consequences of cyberbullying based on the policies that govern how people should relate to each other on social media platforms. They also get to understand the ethical standards that are needed for individuals who are carrying out the various online platform’s activities. In general, rewarding cyber-bullying activity is considered the lack of more efficient laws that limit a person from such activities. The parents have neglected the most recommended upbringing of their children, thus exposing them much to cyberbullying activities on the various social media platforms they have already signed in (Teasley, 2014).
