It is important for the project team to prepare for new emerging risks. If the refrigerated module is too large for the designed refrigerated backpack pouch, then it is important to request the design team to redesign using the allocated time. This involves calling for reinforcement from other designers to avoid piling up of jobs. Subsequently, this would ensure that there is not time wasted.
If the contractor who was assigned to build the ratio has shut down, then there is a high need for my team to relocate and rehire a new subcontractor within a period of one week. Because time may not be adequate, it would be prudent for this task to be rescheduled to a later date avoid cases where there would work lagging behind. This will allow for other activities to be carried as we try to find a possible solution for the contractor who has shut down.
Build the radio module for the backpack has shut down. What is your course of action?
Budget
The project operates on a budget. There are three types of cost that are common in projects. These costs are the direct cost, project overhead costs, and general administrative cost. Direct costs are always chargeable on an individual basis; these include; equipment material and labor (Billngham, 2008). The project overhead costs usually serve the whole project as opposed to a specific deliverable. For instance, central store set up for keeps tools for the entire project. General administrative costs are the cost associated with the running of the project. Moreover, completion of a project within the time allocated is one of the indicators of success. Therefore, project scheduling is a very important aspect of project management.
Impact of schedule
The project must be completed within the time allocated. This is very common to most projects and especially the production projects (Billngham, 2008). It should be noted that most projects do not flow with the timeline, but after few changes have been made through monitoring and evaluation, the project can start moving at the right speed and be completed at the stipulated time. Lastly, most projects have risks associated with them.
Human Capital
There should be well-qualified personnel ready to perform their duties diligently. It is imperative to note the success of a project is dependent on having a dedicated and motivated team (Billngham, 2008). There must be effective management ready to support the manager by delegating appropriate authority to him or her. The management should ensure the appointed project manager of this project is fully empowered to spearhead the aspirations of the company and mobilize other workers to achieve the objectives. Human resources deal with meeting personnel requirements of the organization. Hence it is critical when meeting the needs of the company and its workers. Project managers must strive to have an in-depth understanding of different human resource procedures and policies.
