Customer Interview (business model)

Interviewees

Frank Dickson – a journalist

Jerry Daniels– a coach

Alfred Peterson – regional director in charge of sports

Cynthia Darson –a player

Esther white –a member of the Athletic Footwear Association

Hypothesis

Before the interview, I thought that the customers were not aware of the basis in which prices of a product were determined in a business environment, and the kind of processes which they undertake to be able to get money as a business entity. I assumed that all of them were aware of the type of things which make a business to be successful, and who were the main contributors to a successful business operation.

Experiment

1. Do you think that the prices that you are being charged now for the products and services being offered in the industry is favorable to you as customers?

2. What do you think are some of the things which lead to the failure of a business and do you have any kind of recommendation to rectify such failures?

3. According to you do you think companies which are operating in this industry are making profits or losses?

4. Are there any other opportunities which a business might exploit in this industry to make money that it already has?

5. Between the customer, employee, and the stakeholder whom do you think the business should value most and why?

6. What are some of the things do you think the businesses existing are relying on to be able to meet goals and objectives as a company?

Results

As a result of conducting the interview I was able to learn that the amount of prices which are being charged in the industry are not customer friendly, since some of the business have monopolized the industry therefore denying any new entrants into the market.

Iteration

I am going to continue conducting more interview but I will change the hypothesis that will be tested during the interview.
