Customer Attrition The SHAW Telecommunication company is looking into its churn attrition rates (i.e., it is trying

to know when and why an customers decides to leave the company). This would help the

company to improve its business plans accordingly so that it can hold on to its best customers.

In this project, you will need to evaluate each factor and its relationship with attrition, for

example, the customer age, or the payment type and its impact on attrition, etc. For the data

set, use the attached excel file.

The data set includes information about:

- Customers who left within the last month – the column is called Churn

- Services that each customer has signed up for – phone, multiple lines, internet, online

security, online backup, device protection, tech support, and streaming TV and movies

- Customer account information – how long they’ve been a customer, contract, payment

method, paperless billing, monthly charges, and total charges

- Demographic info about customers – gender, age range, and if they have partners and

dependents
