The issue of privacy and confidentiality is very important when it comes healthcare sector. The concerned patients’ information needs a lot of care during handling and also ensuring that there is confidence in any information displayed of even recorded for reference. The introduction of electronic health recordings has played a very important role in ensuring that the patients information privacy as well as confidentiality is achieved. This is due to the polies and rules put in to control the way the patients’ information is accessed.in this case the information can only be seen through the patients’ permission or any assigned user responsible for the patient matters. The improved technology has made it easy for the achievement of these concepts since it would be very hard for the administrator to memorize all that information in one mind. (Ozair et al., 2015)

The improvement of the technology has also enhanced the security of the patients’ information as well as their status. The security measures such as the antivirus software’s were introduced, establishment of firewalls and finally the detection software which ensures that patients data integrity is protected against the unwanted sources or viewers. The access of the patients’ premise is well protected since not very easy for one to access the place since there are passwords to key in order to get to the place. Digital information technology is always conducted in order to ensure that nothing is being misused. The auditing concept is also seriously conducted on the information concerning all the activities in the healthcare facility hence making it safe for the involved parties. Through this concept the information system is often updated.

Data inaccuracies has also been minimized due to the introduction of the electronic health records since the issue of integrity is assured in this case. The safety of the patients is improved by reduced healthcare errors, disparities hence improved public health. With the proper recording of the patient’s information it is not easy for the information to be tempered with hence improving the patients’ health since he is attained accordingly. The advanced information technology has also helped in the process of controlling the medical care cost since with the improved technology a lot of labor is not required. There is improved patient care too since the communication as well as opinion and idea sharing about a certain problem is easily met. The improved technology has enabled patient care control from even different facilities since accessing the information and understanding what is needed has been made easy. The errors which are preventable have also been reduced in this case since the only specific people assigned to handle a patient and therefore a lot of care and confidence is employed. The technology has also played an important role in the communication sector between the healthcare facilities and the providers in order to ensure this the best healthcare is assured to the concerned patients. Through this also the issue of health cost has also been cut since all the movement of the healthcare providers is reduced through the improved communication skills. The improved technology has played a very important role in ensuring that the best health services are offered to the concerned patients. (Schwitzer et al.,2005)

One of the challenges is avoiding conflict of intrest.the health industry has meant an effort in conducting some research which ended up allowing the publication of the code of conduct concerning the interaction of the professionals in the sector. The reduction of the influence of the profit making in the industry was also addressed making it possible for the healthcare sectors to provide genuine services. Any kind of compensation to the healthcare givers were also turned down since could be the reason for violation of the decision making in this sector. With the practice of this the balance upon the concerned areas would be fully achieved.

Nurses provision of care with minimal benefits it’s also another issue which should be addresses. With such an idea the nurses would not act greedily of with an aim of just getting the profit. Genuine services will be provided hence balancing all the activities. The issue of balancing the profit to the patients’ services offered also is a good idea on directing the health workers on genuine services not being business oriented. The ethical decisions should be highly considered in this case. This will be able to balance all the activities in the healthcare industry.

When it comes to the case of the doctor a claim of medical malpractice might be recorded whereby the doctor is specifically after a benefit from certain medical provider after using their products and use it to the patient with no negative effect. Another issue is the idea of breaching the process of the care given to a patient which also causes some harm to the concerned patient.

When the doctors are working under control of the drugs which can cause lots of harm to the patients. Other related case is when the doctor’s tent to withhold the patients’ treatment with the aim of meeting insurance policy or budget. The issue of becoming romantically involved with the patient is also another discouraged ethical behavior. (Galletly, 2004)

When it comes to the handling of the health matters the concerned healthcare giver or the facility should ensure that they are very honest on their services. This will prevent any kind of unethical behavior in the sector. Equality should also be another considered concept in this sector for it will facilitate equal services to all. Integrity will also ensure that the right services are offered and prevent any kind of conflict of interest in the sector. With the application of these ethical concept then it will be easy to tell that the work is done equally as per the concerned parties. (Bloom 2015)
