Age Management Medicine
The contemporary world of medicine is being faced with the challenge of new diseases, some of which are overwhelming the limited capacities of our health systems. Interesting the older generation is more susceptible to illnesses and early deaths. The aged have worn out organs which are easily overpowered by infections due to long usage (Wang et al., 2020). Although medical advances have worked to eradicate extrinsic diseases, the old continue to be ravaged by intrinsic illnesses. This should not be the case given the advances in cellular biology and biochemistry- with the advanced medical technology patients should have quality life with longevity. Age management medicine is a solution to the systemic health problem but has been viewed with skepticism (Annane et al., 2017). The American government should, through clear policies, adopt the usage of Age management medicine through enhanced regulation, institution of state supported research on this subject and reduce the legal liabilities imposed on operators in this health service.
