Summary: A company from China is opening a $200 million dollar hotel, apartment and retail space across from staples center in L.A Live. In this article they are trying to inform us of an issue that the Chinese are trying to start business in the U.S and push forward the internationalization system of their company and globalization. Some people might be viewed as an issue because growing interest of Chinese investors in Southern California real estate and in property throughout the U.S. says the author. By internationalization the Chinese will be very profitable this hotel will have 1,200 residential units, 500 to 700 hotel rooms and nearly 2,000 parking spaces. A realtor said, "I've definitely seen a trend over the past years of a lot more activity from China into the Los Angeles area than before”, their interest comes for both development sites and already constructed buildings, and some Chinese developers are looking to branch out to other types of investment such as restaurants and rentals.

Reflection: Recently Chinese developers have had a huge interest in Southern California businesses, this can be beneficial to the U.S but I believe it can also be harmful. I think it could bring in a lot of tax money to the U.S and increase spending among Americans even encourage tourist to visit the U.S more often, but on the other side they are trying to invest in many hotel properties and restaurants they are benefit in a lot of American dollars and leaving many with out jobs and some businesses broke. I also feel that it will harm a lot of small local businesses they might have to shut down. For the most part mostly everyone will benefit; small restaurant around the area, all the businesses in L.A Live will benefit and the government. They will all benefit to get foreign investment.  The Chinese should focus on the market mix because L.A is very diverse they should adapt to the local communities because they are spending billions of dollars in this project and expecting huge profits.
