Current International Business Event Briefing (50 points):

You will be researching the world events in the prior week, covering most regions of the world (i.e. East Asia, Europe, Mexico/Latin America, North Africa/Middle East, South Asia/Southeast Asia/Australia, and Sub-Saharan Africa) and presenting this to the class. In class, you will give a brief summary of an event that occurred somewhere in the region, mention how this event affects international business, and answer any questions the class may have about this event. This assignment is meant to give scholars a “Real Life” business situation where you must brief your colleagues on a subject in a CONCISE, and ARTICULATED manner. You will be graded on appropriateness of the article (should be global business in nature), organization, and presentation (eye contact, voice, body language) and adherence to time limit.

The briefing should include :

· Introductory section – introduce the current business event topic

· Body – explain the current business event and how the event affects international business

· Conclusion/Wrap-up – bring the presentation to a close with concluding remarks
