Template for MUSEUM or GALLERY

Use this template to format the answers to the questions for a museum or gallery. Type your answers under each question and turn in this portion of the assignment. Follow all sentence and word count instructions.

1. Name and location of the museum or gallery. Date of attendance.

2. What were your expectations prior to attending the museum / gallery? Were your expectations valid?  (at least 4 sentences)

3. What was your favorite part of the museum/gallery? Why?  (at least 6 sentences)

4. How did the display space impact your viewing? Address the following: 1) Size of the display space; 2) Ability to view the art work; 3) Lighting; 4) Organization of works . (at least 8 sentences)

5. Research - Research biographical information about an artist that you viewed. (This must be related to the experience.) Be sure to include FULL citations of your research.  (at least 350 words). DO NOT copy information from brochures, programs, internet, etc. Put the research information in your own words or you will not receive credit for this section.
