CS 348 Data Security and Disaster Recovery
Final Group Project/Presentation
During the course of the semester, students will learn about incident response and contingency planning consisting of incident response planning, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity planning. Students will be expected to assess the current state of Contingency Planning at an organization of their choice and design a suitable program for the development, implementation, testing and maintenance of Incident Response, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning. Students will submit and a BCP Plan including a walkthrough of how an incident would be handled.
Project will be graded for correctness, completeness as well as presentation. The instructor retains the right to subjectively adjust an individual student's grade in appropriate cases, based upon observed performance. All assignments submitted will be neatly typed (word-processed). Students failing to present the information completely, neatly and in the prescribed format will receive as assessment that reflects this deficiency. Students should double check for spelling and grammar before submitting assignments. Academic integrity requirements of the University are strictly enforced in this class.
