Cryptography

I will research how cryptography is helping in data and information security. For centuries cryptography has been employed to secure data and prevent unauthorized access. In the modern world, data security has become a matter of concern, and therefore, there is a need to develop strategic methods to secure data. I believe cryptography is the key to resolving this concern. My main area of concentration in this research will be the application of cryptography in the banking industry. The main reason for choosing this industry is that financial institutions are the second-largest targets of cybercriminals after healthcare.

I want to address data security officers or security teams drawn from commercial banks in the united states. A sample of a hundred individuals will be required for research. The Sample set will be selected from twenty commercial banks in America.

I will research cryptography applications in the banking industry. I decided to focus on cryptography due to its role in data security. The research will explore its role and its effectiveness in addressing security concerns in various institutions. The research design that I will use for this study is qualitative research as I will seek to interpret some phenomena and explain some issues on encryption and data security in banking.

The topic is related to my core courses. Cryptography is a secured measure that can be utilized in data and information security. The research will be critical to my career path.
