Topic: Issues in death penalty punishment
Thesis statement: Death penalty should not be used as a form of punishment to some cases due to its deterrence effects not only to the offenders but also to family members and other associated people.
Introduction
Attention getter: Death penalty has been used in united stated to those people who are helpless, powerless and poor people in the society.
Statement of significance: Racial minorities have been subjected to death penalty because of committing crimes against white Americans.
Main point preview: The death penalty has a lot of negative impacts than the positive impacts to the society. The majority of the people who encounter death penalty are powerless, of the African American race and financially poor. This should not be the case because we should live like one nation and fight against racism. Death penalty has been an issue since early centuries; it is the high time we take this issue to high levels and addresses death penalty issues and why it should not be exercised.

Some of the questions to be discussed in the main paper include the following:
Should the death penalty cease to exist?
When it comes to death penalty, we should be able to look at present and future impacts of death penalty policy. By the end of the term, this issue of death penalty would be discussed in detail.
What are some of the crimes which quality for death penalty?
In United States, most of the crimes committed by offenders do not require the execution as defined by death penalty. It is so unfair to punish the poor and most powerless people using death penalty policy (Hood, & Hoyle, 2018). Resolutions should be done to this policy to determine the type of crimes that require death penalty punishment. Some people require a second chance as well as rehabilitation to save their lives.

· Understand how effective or harmful it is to the society and state at large.
· Understand the conditions for administering death penalty.
