· 5 The purpose of the the Pennsylvania Juvenile Diversion Program is to focus on youths with mental health needs who are better served by identifying and treating the underlying condition of the juvenile rather than them becoming involved with the formal juvenile court process.

Offenses that are mostly non-violent is usually eligible in the state of Pennsylvania. Offenses such is theft, burglary, arson, and robbery are some that are eligible for these programs.
